About

Got Milk?

Formally a milking parlour and one of the first in the area, the cowsheds were able to milk and house up to 12 cows at a time. Unlike today, the stalls were made from solid concrete and only allowed for a small heard capacity and simple milking system. Before converting the cowsheds into the now holidays homes, there was a series of small rooms off the rear of the building which held the milk tank and pump systems. Pipes and valves run through the entirety of the parlour to channel the milk into a large tank. Although it was sad to see the purpose of the building change,  the history of the building will continue to live on and thrive as it is enjoyed by welcomed guests.
